Lessons: once a week is the usual arrangement, normally following the school calendar. Other arrangements are possible.

Tuition Payments: Generally due by the First lesson of each month. Post-dated cheques are also common policy. Tuition is non-refundable. Again, other arrangements are possible.

Rescheduling: each teacher will have a policy. For example, some may want 2 weeks advance notice for planned vacations, scheduling problems or conflicts. Any cancellations for which proper notice has not been given will be forfeited. Make-up lessons are sometimes possible.

Suggested equipment for piano lessons: an acoustic Piano, tuned at least once a year. An electronic Piano or keyboard. It must have full size keys(61) and be touch sensitive or have touch response.

For voice lessons a keyboard is satisfactory.
